Seth Godin has come up with a great idea for a website to compete with search engines. It's called Squidoo and it lets regular people create little guides to topics that they are experts at.
So instead of typing "fondue" into Google and getting link after link of websites trying to sell you fondue pots, you could go to the Squidoo
Fondue page and find some quality information and links.

Do you fondue? Firebox.com announces Wonka-esque Choccy Fountain
Do you fondue? Firebox.com announces Wonka-esque Choccy Fountain: "The spectacular Chocolate Fountain amazingly flows with lashings and lashings of warm liquid choccy. All you have to do is fill it up, turn it on and watch in wonder. Once you've recovered from the shock of seeing those mesmerising curtains of cascading Belgian chocolate you can get busy dipping your delicacies into the fountain's warm liquid embrace. Strawberries are stupendous, fudge is fantabulous and marshmallows are magnificent - and the truth is, pretty much anything you can shove on a stick tastes amazing when it's covered in warm, gooey chocolate... Fondue recipe is great way to use up fresh tomatoes
Fondue recipe is great way to use up fresh tomatoes: "One of my favorite recipes is the one I share here: Chicken with Tomato Fondue. Do You Shabu Shabu?
Some bumps come with dips at trendy Shabu Fondue: "Course two is shabu shabu, a do-it-yourself Japanese hot pot dish in which vegetables and raw, thin-sliced beef (or, in Chandler, chicken or shrimp as well) are cooked in bubbling broth and served with rice. (Shabu shabu is the onomatopoeic Japanese term for the 'swish swish' sizzling sound the beef makes when it hits the hot liquid.) Course three is chocolate fondue. Doesn't it all sound like great fun?
