Electric Fondue Pot
The Cuisinart CFO-3SS Electric Fondue Pot
This fondue pot is Dishwasher Safe!!!! That's the greatest feature I've ever heard off. I guess Cuisinart is following George Foreman's lead.

Fondue Will Never Go Away
Here's an interesting article that documents how to take the fondue plunge. It's interesting because the author gives a great overview of fondue including it's history and an overview of the cheeses most commonly used.
But then when he gets around to actually trying it he uses Pre-Packaged Fondue. This is the stuff that comes in a vacuum sealed package that you cut open and heat. It's more of an astronaut meal that a good way to try fondue.
Maybe a better first fondue experience would going out to the Melting Pot or making it yourself with the cheeses that were discussed in the article.
